Learn

We want everyone to get to know, and to know about, Jesus, so all our services include clear, practical teaching from the Bible.

If you want to dig deeper, join our Bible Reading Club.  We meet (on Zoom at the moment, but hopefully in person before too long), to look at a passage together and understand how our lives fit into God's big story.

To think about following Jesus in day-to-day situations, tune in to our St Alban’s Thought for the Day, available from 10am every weekday on our Facebook page and YouTube channel.

Pray

Jesus spent lots of time praying, so as his followers we aim to be a praying church.

To get connected with other people who pray, join one of our WhatsApp groups: Praying Women (contact Elaine) or Holy Hands for men (contact Rev Tom)

We aim to pray for our whole local area over the course of a year, a couple of streets each week.  To find out which streets we’re praying for this week, see the Newsletter.  To join in a prayer walk to those streets, either in person or online in Zoom, contact Helen

Serve

At St Alban’s we seek to use our individual gifts and talents to serve God.  Whether it’s music, serving in the foodbank or Pop-in, reading, gardening, praying, DIY, admin, welcoming, refreshments or leadership, there is always plenty that needs to be done.  Contact Rev Tom to find out how you can serve in some way.

St Albans has been serving the community of Ashmore Park for over 50 years. This banner was made to celebrate our 50th anniversary in 2017.

Give

At St Alban’s Church, we're not after your money. We want to invite you to meet Jesus and receive his free gift of love and life in all its abundance.

But if you would like to give to support our work, that would be great.

To set up a standing order or make a bank transfer our bank details are:

  • Sort code: 20-97-78
  • Account number: 10999016
  • Account name: St Alban’s District Church Council

Or if you'd like to make a one-off donation, click here.

You can make cash and cheque donations at either of our Sunday services.  We don’t have a collection in the service, but there is a basket at the welcome desk where you can put your offering.

Gift Aid: If you pay income tax in the UK, please complete a Gift Aid form [link] and return it to the Gift Aid Secretary.

One of the things that happens as we follow Jesus is that we become generous, cheerful givers.  To think about where you are on that journey and move forward, click here [page not written yet]

To understand more about how the church is funded, and how we make good use of the money given to us, talk to the vicar or treasurer.
