Church Services
Encounter God

Our church services are an opportunity to meet God – through worship, prayer and listening to his word – and to meet others, be encouraged and give encouragement.
St Alban’s is a relaxed and informal church – more like a family gathering than a religious ceremony.  So you can come as you are – no need to dress up or pretend to be perfect (none of the rest of us are) – but you can also expect to get a taste of God as he really is, and discover something of his life-changing love for you.
We sing a mixture of contemporary and traditional songs, we listen to the Bible being read and think about what it means for us, we pray together, and (at most services) we break bread and share wine as Jesus commanded us (Communion).

10am Sunday:
A service for the whole family, normally including Communion, with special provision for children.  Most weeks we are all together at the start, then children have their own groups while the adults are listening to the talk and praying, and then come back in for communion.  We plan over the next few months to have occasional all-age services where we spend the whole time together and make sure the whole service is accessible to children and adults.
Sunday evening:
We don’t currently have a weekly Sunday evening service (although there is one at St Thomas’s).
Every month or two we have a Worship Evening –
see “What’s on” for dates.
Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals:
Baptism and wedding enquiries are welcome - please contact the vicar, Revd Tom Fish on 07806 661811 / 01902 732317 or email:  Full immersion baptism is also available.
The vicar is also very happy to conduct funerals either in church or at the crematorium or cemetery.  There is a Memorial Garden and a Remembrance Garden at the rear of the church, with provision for committal of ashes and memorial plaques.

Prayer Ministry: is available at all services for anything or anyone that you need prayer for. Please ask..

There is also a Memorial garden and a Rememberance garden available at the rear of the Church.
