They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:42-47)
The vision behind Cell Groups
Our vision is to make it easy for every member of St Albans Church to belong to a group where people are coming together in a relaxed, informal setting and encouraging one another to grow in the maturity and likeness of Jesus Christ.
A typical evening includes studying the Bible, worship, prayer and often sharing tea and cake and each others good company.
Who is it for ?
Anybody can join a Cell group, allthough if you are new to Church, the best course to start with is the Alpha course.
This is mainly because the
Alpha course address's a lot of those questions we all would like to know the answer to,  but were to afraid to ask..  The Alpha course gives you a good starting block to knowing the Bible and starting you on your journey
of faith.
